    Help Removing Flush Mount Controls

    Hi Folks,
    Can anyone out there get me started on how to remove the OMC flush mount control from my 99 Ranger R-81/Johnson 175?
    Is there a set screw in the bottom of the handle pivot or do you have to undo some bolts in the back?
    Its very hard to see where to start and I'm a rookie with the control.
    I have not been able to find any install directions online for the control.
    I purchased a Teleflex Osprey to replace my worn out factory control.
    All help greatly appreciated!

    I dont work on many of flush mount controls but I believe you move the handle backwards to get to a allen wrench set screw to get the handle off. You may have to move it foward but I believe its backwards.
