Which of these would you choose?

I am having trouble deciding between a few boats, my last boat was a '98 202 with a 200 VMax and it was a good boat but its time to update. The boats I am looking at are:
    '07 Skeeter 20i w/ 250 hpdi
    '07 Skeeter zx250 w/ 300 hpdi
    '07 Bullet 20XD w/ Merc 250XS ( I know its not a Skeeter, but I thought I would list it as well)
How would you rate these boats in price, performance, comfort, and reliability?

I own a 2004 ZX250 and love it. I've been in a 20I and like my boat better. The Bullet would be faster and not sure on the ride (never been in one).

I run 74-76 in my 05 ZX 250 with 250 HPDI. You can't go wrong with the ZX 250 boat. I love mine. With a 300 on that boat you should see 80's easy..

what are the prices? That is always the most important thing and how much money you have to spend for a new boat. I guess you are talking about new boats. I would buy the zx if it was me but I do like the bullet and would not buy the Iclass I need more speed. Just my thoughts.

I like speed as well, but I mostly like a good holeshot and mid range. I would also consider the ZX225.

I recently purchased a 2008 ZX250 with a 250HPDI. I love the boat handling/fishability/layout. Top speed you can let go of the wheel great riding boat.

I just bought my third Skeeter an I went with the I-Class , I had a ZX 225 an have ran most of the new Skeeter's before I mad a decision , the I-Class I ran, GPS'ed @ 75.6 an was loaded with fuel for a big boat, an a good ride, I kinda think it would be hard to beet that speed an cumfort with any boat on the market as a whole.

Re: Which of these would you choose? (RDM0535)

Just remember, if you like to fish tournaments, there are a lot that have a horsepower limit at 250. That said, as good as the ZX250 is, I'd hesitate to get a boat that is underpowered than its rating (one of the reasons I personally didn't go with a 21i, though I thought it would be a better boat than the 20i).

The Bullet is a whole different boat. If speed is your only concern, then by all means...

As far as fishability goes, tough to beat a Skeeter. I've never owned a Bullet, but my experience with the fast hulls are that they tend to rock more and drift while fishing.

Another thing to consider beside what everyone has already mentionsed when comparing the 20i to the ZX250 is the console/seat layout. When I was shopping between the two, I found that the seats in the ZX sit higher or are placed further forward and that my upper shins rubbed up against the console if I tried to sit squarely in the seat (both driver & passenger side). In the 20i, the console face is designed differently than the ZX and the seats are set back a bit further allowing for more leg room. Of course, if you're shorter than 6' then you won't have this problem with either boat.

Just something else to consider and something I would've never thought about until I test drove both...

Being on the Skeeter page, I doubt you will get many Bullet fans, but I will tell you a buddy of mine has a 21XD, I think an 04, and the big complaint he has is how wet all the compartments get. They are not waterproof. I do not know if this has changed in the newer models.
