The QL82YC is fine if you do a lot of low speed running or trolling. If you run near full speed a lot, then use the QL78YC plugs. The gap is .030"

Are you using the R style or the Z style NGK plugs?

    Regular of extended nose design?

I don't know, I got the part number from one of the OMC guys on S&F. I ran them in my 200 also. No issues so far.

Now I was told that the NGK might foul out more then a champion if you did extended idling, but I think that is more an issue of heat range then the plug itself. There is a hotter champ part number for extended idling.

The part number is BR8HS. I think it has a different number when they look it up, but thats what I gave them at Napa when I bought them.

Ran them in my looper (200) since the spring, then moved them over to my 150. Now I just need to put my one off jacobs low ohm resistance wires on it. My 200 liked those wires.
