    Merc Racing.....way different than the High Performance lube. You can't even mix the two. This was the standard oil in your Sporty from Merc.

    Just wondering antbody ever use the royal purple gear lube?? i used it in my old motor seemed to work good but it wasnt a sporty

    ok lets try this again, its more a inferior seal issue vs oil. there are billet seal holders that eliminate the water intrusion. I can direct anyone where they may be purchased.
    its just gears, not rocket science...
