Stereo question

I am going to install an Alpine radio, amp and a set of speakers in my boat. My question is should I run the power to the cranking battery or trolling motor batteries? I will only use this when fun fishing so should I go with the tm batteries? Thoughts?

I would say the cranking battery. Why would you want an amp? Are you putting some woofers in? I have a radio and plain ole 6" speakers. Works great.
