"low oil light" on 150 Vmax, carbed...

Hello people, I have a low oil light coming on. I checked the oil level and all the conections I could find. I even simulated a low oil situation by pulling the cap off the oil tank and playing with the float. when I do this I get light and a buzzer. my question is, what does the low oil light and no buzzer mean. the light comes on speratically, no certain rpm or speed. 1999 vmax 150 carbed. ZX 185 Thanks, Rick in CT

Mine comes on for a second or two when I start the motor and then goes off.
