Ive got a 07 zx 190 and want to put a radio in it. If someone has done this where did you put the speakers. What size speakers did you use?

Are you seeking good sound or marginal sound? Having the proper enclosure volume behind the speaker is critical. I have seen few boats that sound good, including mine.

I PUT THEM IN THE SIDES OFF THE CONSOLES FACING EACH OTHER. I BOUGHT POLK AUDIO 6 1/2'S. THEY SOUND GREAT, I KEEP THE BASS DOWN BECAUSE YOU CAN FEEL IT IN THE FLOOR OF THE BOAT IF IT IS TURNED UP. IT JUST SUCKS CUTTING HOLES IN MY NEW BOAT BUT IT LOOKS GREAT.
If it's a dual console, I'd buy outdoor box speakers and mount them up high under the consoles... I use a wired remote and mount the stereo in the rod locker... Look at Overtons for many choices an affordable packages.
