    livewell question 06 20 I-class

I went fishing this morning and I was told to put the switch by the seat on open, then fill the livewell and put on auto. I did this with two fish in the livewell and when I ran to another spot most of the water had disappeared. Am I doing this right or what should I do.

Put the livewell switch to open and get a little water in it then close it and hit the fill button.
