    RPM loss

Had Mark Croxton work a prop fror me; B&B, a little cup, etc. and got to 5800 rpm's and 74.3 GPS (2 people, full load) 2 weeks ago. Dinged up all 3 leading edges earlier this week on first morning of recent trip. Prop not too bad at all but now only running 5500 -5600 and 71.2 with similar load. If the prop is not it (on the way back to Mark) what's next?? Still running on same gas from previous trip. No water in fuel separator (Racor). Thoughts??

To lose 300 rpms due to the dinging of a leading edge on the prop is a definite possibility. I hope you'll get back to 5800 once it's fixed.

    Re: RPM loss (K.D.)

I bet it's the prop. Probably knocked the blades out of balance in addition to the damage you can actually see. Mark will get it fixed up for ya
