jere, I can't find anywhere on that site where you were told that. Everyone over there is very helpful and if you will check your thread on "warranty", they all tried to help you.

I don't think anyone said that. You are welcome on the Triton board anytime like anyone else. Your question was a little strange when you came on the board and were asking all the Triton guys what they thought of new Skeeters. I think the suggestion was made to check with the Skeeter guys, too as they will be pretty helpful regarding their own brand.

I too cannot find where you were told to get off. Although, I did read your post on the X2 and asking about chine walk. I believe the problem was when you accused Rodney of Blowing Smoke up your arse. Like was stated in the other replies to the X2 posts....you can go off on most of us on the Triton Board, but Rodney is one that we all respect. My suggestion is that if you can't "Take-it"...don't "Dish-It" it out.

Think Skin????Seems like your the one that took your ball and left.

OK, I did find this post http://www.bbcboards.net...age=1

which from what I can tell they were just telling you to go to the Skeeter boards to ask questions about Skeeters...

I don't think they meant ill will. As a matter of fact I'm sure of it. Like I said, we will help you any way we can on the Triton board. I just think some of your comments were taken differently than how you meant them. We do like to have a little fun on our board, though, so if you take any comments the wrong way, it was merely cause we're used to joking around with each other.

I would venture to think the good guys over here on the Skeeter board would feel the same way.

    Re: Thin skin (Jiggernaut)

Its hard on these boards and in emails to sometimes understand what/how someone is trying to say something. I honestly think from reading through that post that it started out with guys trying to help you by saying "go over to the Skeeter boards, they can help you" then it kinda got into a couple of guys joking around which led to other guys trying to joke with what was already joked about. That just happens on these boards, been that way on every forum I have ever been a part of. You've just got to learn to read through the junk to find the good info. If you'll go read the posts in the lounge you will see just how bad it really can get.

With that being said, I think those guys on the Triton boards are very knowledgable about their boats and seem to try and help with any question. I think you will find its exactly the same way over here, just a bunch of good guys that love/own Skeeters and are glad to help anyone out.

Heck I'm the only one banned from the Triton board, and I own a Triton, was also banned from the Ranger board for talking too fast, so I'll see what my luck here is

Re: Thin skin (THE SKEETER MAN)

Yep, you know them pastor guys... They are mean suckers I tell ya. Man we were just mentioning to you that if you wanted to know about buying a fine new Skeeter you should probably ask Skeeter owners.

I've found often in life that if you want to buy something you ask someone who already has one. If you wanted to buy a toon you ask toon owners, you want to buy a lead-sled, I mean Ranger, you ask a Ranger owner; you want to buy a hand-hewn wooden canoe you ask an American Indian....you sense the pattern?

Now if you would've asked the question on the toon forum, "Toon owners, what are some cons of Skeeters that the skeeter owners may hesitate to tell me about because of their brand loyalty?" That would've been a fair question. But you didn't. Just like I would hesitate to tell you negatives about a toon, but skeeter owners would give you a objective opinion. But, you simply asked the triton forum about buying a skeeter.

Just my .02 cents.... but then again why do we say just our 2 cents but it's just a penny for our thoughts?

American Indian Hey we prefer Native American, can't help it that the folks that found us thought they were actually in India.

You're gonna learn you just can't try to get BBCer's to turn on other BBCer's, might as well join the club or take a hike.

That's how it all starts ....First they drop by to argue, then they start dropping in to visit.....Next thing you know they have their own tooth-brush in the little holder in the bathroom, and clothes hanging in the closet, oh, I'm sorry ....that's girlfriends.
