Bench seat for SS90

Hello:

I am almost new in BBC forum, I am from Monterrey, Mexico and I would like to receive advices of where can I buy a bench seat for my Skeeter SS90 (model 95) that currently has individuals seats ? These individuals seats are in very good condition, but I want a bench seat in order to have space to seat three people there. I have seen several pictures of anothers SS90 with bench seats (example model 99). Someone knows if is possible to modify the current ones to convert them in only one seat ? I know you can buy bench seats from bass pro and cabelas but have not seen any skeeter specific. If you find one I might be interested in buying your buckets. Would you post some pics of your boat dont get to see many ss90's.

Welcome to the BBC "skeeter2bass". I agree with kirbyv1, BPS & Cabelas probably have what you are looking for. I'm sure there are probably some other places like West Marine, & such that offer them too. Those SS90's are some really good boats. My first Skeeter was a 1992 SS90 with 85hp yamaha. I loved that boat, and never had the first problem with it in almost 5-yrs. of use. I know the guy that owns it now, and it's still going strong!

Welcome to the BBC My first boat was also a SS90 with a 85hp Yammie, bought it new in 93 and fished out of it daily until about 2000 when I sold it. That thing was still going strong too and I never did anything to that boat except normal maintenance (water pump, plugs, etc..) and right before I sold it I had the carpet and seats redone. It had the bench seat in it, I dont guess I ever knew that they made any with buckets. I was going to tell you to check with Tiny's Fiberglass Repair in Texas because he's known for selling older Skeeter parts, but I just tried to go to his link and it appears that its no longer functioning Cabelas does have this one, but you would need to measure your boat and make sure it would fit. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas...=true

Than you very much for your faster response, and for your advices and comments that you gave to me. I really appreciate them. I am going to take a deeper view in the Cabelas and BPS bench seats, surely there I can find the correct one for me.

Kirbyr1, I am not interested in sell my current ones seats, in order to have the option to return to original configuration of my boat.

My skeeter is model 95 and has a Yamaha 75 hp. It runs 38 mph with two people and tackle, it is not a fast boat but I really enjoy fishing on it.

Would you post some pictures if you can I would like to see what your boat looks like. I am just finishing up getting mine done. I bought just the hull about a year ago and have put new seats,carpet, and gauges in it and also wet sanded it and buffed it.

The best way to do it is go to the owners page on the home page and add it to the list. When you are on the home page scrool down a ways and you will see the link for skeeter.
