    Replacing a non-slip pad

The rubber pad on the front of my boat pealed loose going down the lake the other day. It caught on the console so, I still have it but, the 3M glue I tried using to resecure it just don't seem like it's gonna hold.

What type of glue and suggestions can you guys make to strip the old glue and resecure it?

Try some contact adhesive. Be sure to put it on both sides & let it dry a little before sticking together.

Use 3m's Superr 77 Adhesive. Works great.

Thanks for input guys. I wonder what effect acetone would have on the surfaces to use as a stripper?
