I am looking at purchasing a 2006 SX 190 won at a bass tournament. It does not have the swing-away tounge option.
1) Is there a way to "trade-in" the trailer?
2) Can the trailer be modified?
Skeeter lists the package at 22' 5", my garage is 22' even. It must fit into the garage without slanting it.

Here is one a buddy of mine is selling in D/FW. He's gone back to school for either his Masters or PhD. It's got extremely low hours on it and I know it's got the break away. Click the link that says "more pictures" for a picture of it broke down.

I'd say 22-5 is what it measures, I just went out and measured my garage, its just shy of 20' to the door and I have a swing away tounge on my SX190 and I still have to angle it... quite a bit... I also measured my boat from tounge to end of the cavitation plate on the motor, it measured right at 23' but I have a 6" jack plate on mine so there's the extra 1/2'. I'm gonna say that without a swing away tounge you will have to angle it. If you can either swap out for a trailer with a tounge or possibly buy a conversion kit to turn yours into one then you might possibly get it to fit in there straight, but its still going to be pretty tight.
As far as being able to swap out for a trailer already with the swing away tounge, I have no clue... but it cant hurt to call your local dealer and talk to them about it.
