I bought this beautiful boat, but I don't get what they were thinking on the design of the boat next to the passenger seat. It is basically a flat spot with just a hole for a drink. There is lot's of empty space, but no storage and no support for rods.
It would be great if I could put something there like a console for a truck, that would hold stuff and also act as a rod ramp.
Is there a 3rd party console that will fit there?
I have a 2000 SX166 and have found that the butts of the rods sit pretty well on the lip that is on/behind the rod locker and they stay in place well, even when running. I just graduated from Commerce, but hopefully I will be back in your area there someday...great bass lakes up there north of Commerce
Im not sure, but the SX vs. TX isn't the TX set up more like you described?
