Hi Guys
My boat arrived the other week and man do i love it.
It has a Evinrude Di 135 on the back.I have just finished running the motor in.She is getting 60.8mph on the GPS in the salt 1 up full gear and live wells, 2 up 58mph

Its actually a DI motor, I went for this because it ws cheaper than the merc and more grunt than the optipop.And Yamaha dont do a 135.
Over here in Australia we can put what motors we like on the back.And the 135 is the max we can put on a 180.
Its still wearing in so it can only get better i hope

That ought to be awesome with that 135 on a 130-rated boat! Is that a V-4??? My Skeeter is the same colors except they are opposite (stripes are blue, rest of hull is white").
Its a V6. im loving it.In regards to the rating we have different rules to abide by.I think it comes down to the weight over here.

Since that is a V-6 I bet it has head-snapping holeshot. So what is rated for "down under"?
The Sx180 is rated to 135 hp and it does have a good holeshot though

Same thing up here. The Coast Guard re-issues labels for the boat bringing the HP up but the number of passengers down. Must be compensating for the 4 stroke's weight or something.
Is that trailer seperate? or did it come with the boat? It looks different..but good!
