Are you being serious? You're thinking of buying a Triton because of the size of the trailer?
Also take into consideration that the 2012 Ranger 520 is 4" longer and 3" wider than your 2002 Ranger 205. Obviously the trailer is going to be bigger.
Personally I would much rather have a Ranger 519 that would fit in your garage than I would a 20' Triton. But that's just me.

Sounds like your door is too narrow. Ranger doesn't do anything wrong!
Sounds like a good excuse for getting a new garage if you ask me!!
Our guys at work do this all the time in our Overhead Door division.
Remove the trim, maybe a stud, around existing door, install new door you probably need one anyways. The panels are cut to fit from wider stock.
Keep it Simple Dude.
Get a real garage with real doors. My garage is 36 x 40 with 3 10 x 10 doors I have no problem at all.

Now that's a Man's Cave.
I just finished changing my 9' overhead door with a 10' door, Jacked the weight off the house, installed LVLs, cut the foundation on each side, trimmed it out, 4 guys 9hrs, then the garage door came the next day and put the ten footer in, All in all around $2000. With the 9 foot door , I barely had 2" on each side, Me and my guys had to push it in by hand. the boat stayed out all season, then away in the fall till now. Now I should be able to back it in every time I come in.

Do you have a double car garage with 2 single doors? Last year I converted mine from two singles to one 20' door. Heck, even I can back into that thing now. About $2000 with me and my buddy doing most of the work except the actual door installation.
Oh yeah, there was also the co-pay at the emergency room after my buddy about tore his index finger off.
