    Upgrade to tandem?

Anybody upgrade to a tandem after their purchase? I've got an 09 188 and with all the talk of hub issues was considering upgrading. Whats the cost difference? Any one that has done this or have any info I would appreciate the info!

    Thanks Guys!

    Re: Upgrade to tandem? (Flippinfreak)

Good post and question! I, too, would like to know. Just Sunday on the way home from a club tx my buddy lost his front wheel (tire, wheel, hub, brakes, etc) on the port side of the trailer. He did not even know it was gone until he stopped for gas, got out of the truck and WOW......completely gone. He was able to get home on the one remaining wheel.....good argument for tandem!!!!!!!!!!

And YES.....it was a Ranger trailer!

Only thing I didn't upgrade on my 2007 Ranger 188 was a tandem axle....
I won't begin to tell you the horror stories about my single axle.... please, please for the love of God and all things Holy, upgrade!!

The problem u will face is on trading, dealers these days don't have any extra trailers setting around on their lots and neither will Ranger. If you can find some one who has wrecked their trailer and needs a single axle trailer then that would be your best shot. Just a used trailer are very hard to sell these days. A new dual axle trailer will run you upward of 6500.00 or so off the top of my head.
