Can someone tell me if the wheel stud can be removed by hammer and punch. Also, can they be replaced the same or similar way.
I had a loose wheel while traveling and 3 of the studs broke off. The other 2 nuts were on there were loose. I was very lucky as I was traveling down some roads that had very steep drop offs.
If someone can help me with the procedure and give me the size of the wheel stud.)I'm thinking the stud size is 1/2x20x1 5/8ths

I think I would just call around to some local dealers and see if they could set you up with one, I found a whole hub assembly with the disc brake at a close by dealership for around 25.00. It was used but looked great. I just replaced bearings, races and seals and its good to go. Its worth calling around to dealerships alot of them have parts around for the older models.
Call Sherry at ranger parts dept. I know the hub on my 1990 362v was a ford hub. Can you post pictures. i'll check mine tomorrow and se if i can knock the studs out on mine.
