If my memory is correct, the 361v was a full flipping deck and was one of best floor plans Ranger ever made. The cats meow for a tournament boat back when.
The 363v was a dual console, and might be the only difference, can't remember for sure.
Fish Don't Have Hands!
Both have the same hull, both came with all the same factory equipment. the 61 had 1 console and the 63 had 2.
As above has stated, same hulls, but 363 dual console has a padded port rod box. The Ranger 361= single console...362= dual consoles...363= dual console & padded rod box. The 363 was always considered a fish and ski version due to extra seating on passenger side rod box. The 361 best for serious bass fishing with single console and lots of room.
I sure loved my 361, they are excellent fishing rigs and run great with a 175.

I have alot of things.![]()
If Ranger would reintroduce the 361v with a few minor cap changes ( recessed pedal and built in cooler), I would sell my current boat and buy it.
My old 1992 361v was an excellent fun boat.
I used to have a 363v. It has a padded seat in front of the passenger console and a fold-away piece of deck in front of the driver's console. The rod boxes are consequently short and shallow, in my opinion. I had a 150 on it with a 10" plate and 21 pitch PowerTech prop, and it ran good.
Wish me luck. I'm going to look at it on Wednesday as long as it doesn't sell before then. From the pictures and taking to the current owner it sounds like everything I want. What is the going price for a 1988 363v in good condition?

Depends on the motor, electronics, and trolling motor. With older electronics and trolling motor, I would think around $3800. If its in really good shape with newer electronics and trolling motor, I'd say it could go as high as $5500-6000 with a good motor and interior, also.
