    519 DVX battery question?

I have two series 27's and want to replace them with series 31's. Besides replacing or altering the trays will the 31's fit in the same space as my present 27's? Any 519 owners ever make the switch? Thanks

They will fit; easiest to do on the trays is to cut out one end and the batt's will be held in place just dandy....................RR

Have a few aluminum or Stainless trays made. They are waaayyy better than the plastic ones. G

I did the same thing when I went up to 29's. Now the tray holds them on one side and the vertical partition holds them on the other.

I have done that before but i had rather have the ones made for the batteries, looks a lot neater to me any way.

I lucked out. I removed the series 27's today and my trays are for 31's.

When I went from 27s to Deka 31s they dropped in the original trays.
Look up the size of the battery then measure your tray. Usually most of the size increase is in height.

The 31 are about a 1/2 inch longer than the 27, same height just longer.
