Maybe it's just me, but...

i'm not a big fan of the new American Racing wheels that Ranger is using on their new trailers. They don't seem to fit the traditional look of the Ranger trailers. I always thought a brushed aluminum wheel looked better with the fiberglass fenders. The AR's seem a bit too blingy. Are these the standard offering this model year or can you opt for a different style similar to past model years? Just curious...

I believe those are the optional "upgrade" for the wheels. The standard wheels are still the traditional style

I agree about the AR wheels...they are about a $500 option too.

I agree with you. The polished wheels come with the touring package I believe but I am sure you could opt out of them.

I was torn on them, ended up not getting them in my Z-521 order. But they sure look good on this boat.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought they looked out of the norm. If they're gonna do those they should do either 17 or 18 inch wheels and they would look a little better. The big sidewall on the Marathons just doesn't have the greatest appearance with all that shine. The Bass Cat blingy wheels look a little better because they are an inch or two bigger rims. When my 521 finds a new home I think I'll stick with the stock wheels.

Larry just had some spare change laying around. This (Larry's) boat is almost blinged to the max! Now, if he ever puts some fish in it!
