can't figure out how to operate live well. with switch set on recirculate, and buttons pushed on dash it pumps water in and pumps out the pump out. leaving no water in live well.. with switch set on other position live wells fill up about 6 to 8 inches gravity fill. when i turn on dash switches water pumps in and pump out emptys live wells. how do you just fill them up.

...............there is a push pull valve in the livewell itself that activates the pumpout feature....................it is pulled out and is the reason the pumpout feature keeps pumping out water out of the well........................RR

Just to add to Roger's comment The valve for the pump out is part of the spray head in the starboard well. Pull the spray head out for pump out & in for normal operation.

Don't worry Mike. We all did. Had the same learning curve with my 07 z20 livewell system. Simple and worked great once I figured out how to work it.

We actually have more people who think the switch on the pad switches the gas tanks which is not the case at all as most people know but a pro staff guy of ours trolled back in about 2 miles thinking his tank was switched by the push button on his pad, never even looked at his fuel select switch. He is kind of old and fibble like me so i let him off light
