Australia has an influx of exotic birds...

    Guys,

The first few Phoenix have arrived Down Under. There's an Australian agent who slings them in shipping containers and puts them on locally built trailers. By the end of next week, there'll be three 719s getting wet over here - and I'm sure plenty more to come.

One of the most appealing features to us are the stainless steel fittings. Most of our boats get run in the salt as much as the fresh. The local trailers are built for salt - galvanised and powder coated.

Thanks for all the set-up hints here. I'll let you know how mine flies!

    Cheers,

    Steve Morgan

Good deal! Steve, was your previous boat a 285 with the 150 Verado or am I confusing you with someone else? Love seeing the picks from down under. Maybe one day I can visit.

Australia is at the top of my list of places outside the US to visit! But that's really cool man. Please post pics when you get a chance.

    Jason,

Nah - you're thinking of Dale Sinclair and his black 285 with gay pink stickers on it (I know Dale will read this).

I've made the step from a couple of Stratos 294s - the latest had a 200 Pro XS. Loving the step-up in build quality and attention to detail!

    Cheers,

Mine too. If I have to live in another country, Australia would be it.
