Anybody out there have a 1158 mounted on the bow?? Mine is coming in a few weeks and I am looking for a few ideas before we put it on. Don't really want to flush mount it and not even sure if you can.Last boat I had a 958 to the right of the TM pedal.Thanks ahead of time for any imput you might have.

It is a carpeted metal "bridge" plate across the front of the troll motor pedal recess.

ThanksWonder if he ever bangs or steps on it going for the TM? I ordered a Minnekota also and I think it has a larger foot pedal and wonder if there wil be enough room. Hopefully i'll find out in a week or so.

I have a 1158 mounted the same way on my 921. I really like it. In addition, I had 958 mounted in this same way on my last years 721.
It doesnt feel in the way at all. Never an issue with the trolling motor.

Good to hear that Jimmy. My 958 is going to be bracketed that way on my new 618.
