    Met another Phoenix owner today!

Thanks to the BBC Phoenix forum, I made another friend today! I got out on Guntersville with Brandon Smith (1blubyu) and had a great time. I wish I had numerous photos to share of immaculate mammoth fish the lake is famous for, but it was being stingy today. I even tried alabamaphoenix's trick of fishing out of the back of the boat and STILL didn't produce!!

It was nice meeting you Brandon, and we'll get em next time man!

Well, we might have done better if I hadn't driven your boat so much! I freakin' love the 618/175! I am so stoked... can't wait until mine gets built!

Brandon, You scaling down there. Have you sold your boat yet or waiting until you get the 618.

Affirmative on the scale down Senior Tim! My 719 is sold (thanks Junior), and my 618 is in the production que (thanks again... Junior)!

Played around with the 618 and the Sabre FTD. It was a tough choice SERIOUSLY! In the end, I went with Phoenix again. Both boats had their plusses and minuses. I will not get into a Sabre FTD vs 618 debate though. The things that mattered to me are just that... personal preferences. I looked at Cat and Phoenix exclusively... because of the way they do business!

I will say, after playing around with a 618 for a while... I don't think I will miss that other 14" of boat from the 719 one bit.

After 10 months of wrangling that big tandem 719 into my little garage... I decided I needed to go back to an 18.5 class boat. That 719 was nice, but more boat than I should have grabbed. The shorter single axle 618 will fit MUCH better. I'll be able to twist it around easier too.

Oh yeah... this "little" 618 is gonna be slutted up too!!!
