Pickwick vs smith - 1st week nov

Settled on dates. Never been to either, and want to try some new water. Any northern AL experts have advice on which lake would be most likely to provide us with a bass beat down? Thanks. Fwiw I've never caught big AL spots, just few here and there at gville

Pickwick with swimbait or A-rig for Brown fish of a lifetime! Hands down! Love Smith but late fall is Brown fish go time!

Pickwick should be great in November. I live part time on the lake and the rest of the time about 20 minutes from it.Would be happy to assist you anyway I can if you need anything.

Thanks - i may take u up on it. Still somewhat undecided where to go- never fished chick ( have nick and g ville dozens of times) so have put that on the list. I've got a friend going to pickwick 3rd week in October , part of trip with a guide, so I'll see how he does. I fish on weekdays so will not be competing for hotel rooms and ramp parking
