On the water in the 921

Guys i spent last sunday evening on dale hollow lake in the big bird 921. All I can say is how in the world can Greg outtdo his self now?????? Sunday's conditions were as follows windy and the buckeye and hoosier navy in full force! The 921 shrugged all that off with a ho hum and yawn and had to be saying bring me something to actually challenge me. This being with some boats on the water that shouldn't even be on an inland lake IMHO. Holeshot on the big bird is absolutely incredible i was really really blown away by how quickly this big boat can jump out of the hole and gets moving Handling??? just as sporty as the entire line up!!!! i could do anything handling wise that the 719 or 721 excel at. Overall if you love a bigger than big front deck and the ULTIMATE big water ride with no compromises then the 921 is your next boat

Greg, I know you're watching so make that new and competitive looking console we talked about and it's all over but the shouting.

The 921 will be my next rig when you do. I'm not buying the bigger boat with the same console design we have now. Want to flush mount my new Hbird 1198 big graph, and have push button switches and also have smaller/more informative gauges, mount my Merc or Yammie smartcraft gauge where I can easily see it in front of my face, etc. Perfect example; the speedo we have now is not only too big but it's 100% useless since we all have GPS now.

IMHO, right now BCB has set the bar in what a bass boat console should now look like and be functionally laid out like. We get that kind of concept in these boats with the rest of the outstanding Phoenix features that these boats currently have and it's "LIGHTS OUT!" as the man himself would say.

    Good report JR!

It is not a question of trading my 721, It is when. Chuck, I think the new console is ready and available.

Re: On the water in the 921 (SilverFox66)

Silver, I'm with you on the old BCB consoles; boxy and butt ugly. I'm talking about the new stealthy looking one they have on the Eyra and new FTD lines that are more streamlined like ours are shape wise but have drop in gauges. Also, I hear what you are saying on preference and that's all good.

So this new one is available?!!?!?!?!? Holy smokes Top Bird have you gone and done it already!?!?!?

    PICTURES PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! That's awesome news!

If the 921 uses the current 721 console would the new console come as a choice on the 721? Just wondering.
