1991 Evinrude has issues

I have been working on fixing up the boat that our 90 HP Evinrude (model # E90TLEIE, serial # G 03001686) is attached to so haven't had it out on the water much because I had the interior of the boat all ripped apart. Last year when I did get everything to a point where i could launch it, it ran great for a day. I went to start it the next day with no luck. There is no spark in any of the cylinders and I've run some tests on the timer charge coil and sensor coil but confused about the ohms readings and what they mean I need to replace..whether it's the coil(s) that are the issue or the power pack itself. I'm desperate to get this boat running asap and the only dealer near me can't get it in for awhile. any suggestions?

Have you checked the kill switch? I know that is kind of a stupid queston, but disconnect it and reconnect it just to be sure. I have mine on my old boat on, but not exactly right, and felt like a knob when I figured it out.
