also there has been no work to the tilt and trim ever on this boat. this just started about a month or so ago. any responses?
Reservoir is full?? Try and bleed the system. Trim motor all the way down onto a block of wood under the skeg. Loosen the manual release valve and cycle the trim up for a 15 second count and then down for the same count. Do it 5 times both directions. Tighten the screw and see if that works.
well no luck with that. didnt change a thing
just put my new trim motor on and it works great. got it from leaders marine on ebay. genuine OMC part. the plug on my trim was different than the one in the rude tips and techniques. that probably took me the longest to figure out. other than that it was fairly easy, so anyone need a boat machanic??? lol later
