(Currently shopping for my next bass boat)
This is only my opinion. If I've got the money to spend on the boat, gas, tackle, etc., and enough to spend on one Power Pole, I would go ahead and get two and be done with it. To me with one, you will still have to touch the trolling motor if there is breeze or current.
Get two and be done with it. Looks better that way too.![]()

As a die hard dock fisherman, I'd kill for 2 on my boat. As usual, money is the only thing holding me back. If I fished Norman year round, I'd find a way to get them. Too many chances to use them there.

I fish docks on with one, I can see where two would be nice, but I do like the fact that I can move the bow of the boat left or right, now bed fishing, I definatly want two.![]()
I'm putting two Talons on my rig. While cost is always a consideration; it's not the primary factor.
I have 16' Bass Tracker w/20 hp for restricted lakes. After the added purchase of the quick disconnects and mounting brackets; I'll be able to quickly remove it from the 721 and put them on the Tracker, therefore, making them more versatile for my use.
Jr could give you a more detailed price for two, but I think it's a chunk less than 2 Power Poles and both include the remote controls.

Fishing these docks, particularly if flipping them in this typical clear water requires the boat to be sitting really still and for the angler to be quiet as these fish are pressured out of their heads with 300+ tournaments a year here....
Hitting that Fortrexx as quiet as it is when it's blowing just enough to move you in to a dock puts them off in my book so I'd see me using them year round here.
It's the $4500 for 2 signature series I'm having a little trouble swallowing right now though....
Can anybody tell me the major diff between the signature series and the pro series? What am I giving up? I can't really find what I'm after on their web site. Thanks.

The signature series is drilled out in several areas... Making them lighter.

After being around both, I'd go the Talon route. The talon's are lighter, cheaper, and quieter. I've seen no difference in holding power from either one. Of course they both get in the way of the back deck angler, so that is a definite negative.

I got one on my 619 and its great but if its real windy you either have to constantly tap the tm to keep the nose of the boat where you want it or try to set up on what your fishing by letting the wind blow from back of the boat towards the front. If you plan on keeping the boat a few years you might as well go ahead and get 2.
My boy and I were on some bedded fish today, PP's would have been sweet. I fish slow, especially where I know fish are holding and PP's are on my list, even before SI! The down fall is I like to fish deep for most of the year, even so, most of the time there is shallow enough water to get a pp in some mud. If they fit your style in anything above 50 percent of your fishing, go for it, and that means 2 of them!!!!

are you putting them on or having them installed?
I love bed fishing. I got one to help in that. Well, I still have to get rope anchor out and drop it in the front to lock in place. If your serious about having them for the benefit they offer, two is the only way to go. Simply too much sway with one.
DO IT! I've got a black signature series and love it, i want another already- get the pair to begin with

I have two of the pro series, and have fished in several boats with the signature series, could not tell a difference in the performance. Signature looks better, if you like the holes. Don't buy just one, I'm so hooked on mine I will never have another boat without two on it
Sig series is lighter and faster... works great for me, has allowed me to fish some areas during tournaments i could not have fished effectively without it.

You wont regret buying two, boys at Falcon laughed at me when I showed up with them the first time. Wind was blowing 20 to 25 and I just backed carefully in the brush and lowered the poles on a main lake point. Started whacking fish that they couldnt stay on, they didnt laugh much after that but asked a lot of questions, lol. They will change the way you fish!
