    Is it Smart Craft compatible and what are these extra wires?

    I just purchased a used boat with 90 Optimax s/n-1B434184. Is this motor Smart Craft capable? No decal and I don't see the harness with the yellow cap. Also, what are these wires/harnesses that aren't attached to anything. I'm really puzzled by the grey tube with the red plastic piece in the first photo. Boat only has speedo, tach, volt, fuel gauges. Thanks.

    the connector is a GM weather pak type connector low on the shift and throttle side. i don't think it's yellow - more like black.
