I am making room in the garage for a new 721 and asked Jeff at Phoenix this same question a week or so ago. He said it's 102" from tire bulge to tire bulge. I hope it fits for you!

I just measured my 721's trailer. Outside of tire to outside of tire measures 100 inches.

I have the same problem every time I order shirts, never enough room for the gut bulge.

So how do you guys fit your 21 footer in your garage? extra long or 3 car garage? I have a standard 2 car and my 618 goes in with very little room to spare (length wise). I think 619 is the biggest I can fit in my garage

I laid a straight edge accross the two tires at the bulge and measured to the other side of the trailer the same way. My tape shows 100 inches, including the bulge on both sides. Tha straight edge measures the widest point of the tires.

that's big. I have a 9' garage door and that won't work unfortunately. Love these boats, but I guess I'm going to have to keep my 21x2.

    Thanks to all who posted

That leaves you 4 inches on each side.

When we built the house, I started the plans with the garage. Basically took a 3 car garage and put the doors on the short side, which made it a 1 car - 1 boat.

Scott, you screwed up!!! I built mine around the garage too. But, I made the end stall 35' so I'd have plenty of room. My prob was I spent too much on the garage, so I don't have a boat now! Whoops!

    Re: (1rudebee)

I would think if a 21 x2 will fit in the door, a Phoenix would. The trailers are both built by the same company, and both should be max legal width. You might also contact the trailer mfg. and see if they could raise the bunks up on the Phoenix, and narrow the width a few inches when they build it. A Phoenix sits lower to the ground on a trailer than most boats I have seen anyway.

    Re: (Rocky Top)

+1 - I tried a Phoenix 721 to see if it would work in my garage with standard 9 ft door and it was fine. It's closer to the 100" measurement because it's almost exactly the same clearance as my Z521 which is 99". I had a 21 X2 and it's much bigger on the trailer than the Phoenix. You should be fine.

    Re: (benconkin)

I'll have to measure mine. I have an 08 and I was told the 09 and new have a wider trailer than i do. I love the boat and would hope it would fit. Haven't heard a single negative about the boat. The rep up here has been very helpful with information. Can't wait to see one myself.

    Re: (benconkin)

How much clearance did you have on each side of the boat when putting it in?
