That is one nice setup rig, Ed. Sorry to hear about your reasoning for consideration of selling. Someone will get one fine setup if they get your boat.

Re: Is it worth it (EdDavisKY)

Ed, let me start by saying I can't afford it.......but if i could, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I have been drooling over the 721 since it's inception and have probably seen 90% of the sale ads on the web in that time. You should sell it pretty quickly at that price point. Sorry that you are even considering it though; I have also read every thread about your rig since you got it and know you are really proud of it. that the good Lord helps you out on this one.

serioulsy, if you decide to sell, I want an opportunity to make her mine. Keep me posted, as your boat is about the only rig I would consider buying used with no worries because I know the care you take of it.

but I hope you don't need to

I think it is Ed. And I think mine is worth $32K. But, it hasn't sold yet, so maybe we're both wrong.

Re: Is it worth it (alabamaphoenix)

I'm not having to sell, but I do have it listed. If it sells, someone will get a good deal. If it doesn't, I still get to enjoy my favorite boat I've owned.

I got married in May and we both want at least one child in the next little bit (we're both in our early 30's). We both brought in some credit card debt that needs to be taken care of, so just getting priorities in order. I've had trouble doing that in the past, so it's time to grow up for a little while.

Re: Is it worth it (Jason Phillips)

They are both fine rigs. Jason's price is too low in my opinion. That is one heck of boat he's got also.

Hope neither of you sell them. They are too hard to replace for that amount of money.

Jason, I admire your reasoning. My 2nd child was born in 01 and I sold my Ranger in 02. I then fished out of 2 different alum bass boats for the next 8 yrs. We caught lots of fish out of them tin cans and had loads of fun, all the while knowing our day was coming with the boat we had always dreamed of (18.5 w/ 150). Its even better cause I have two awesome kids that love to fish along with us!

The point i guess is sacrifices will only get you to a better place in the end. Good luck selling your boat if that's how it plays out, and more importantly good luck with the family!
