    Possible idea for Phoenix

since a lot of guys add a hambys or keel shield to their boat, what if you had some in stock and made that a boat option, you could make a template that matches the front stripes and have it fit over the hambys so you could paint the front stripe on the Hambys. that way when you mounted the hambys the stripe would match up instead of cover up part of the stripe...
A little confusing but you get the idea. paint the stripes on the hambys and line it up with the front stripes on the boat...

Put a dimmer switch on the console lights so you can dim them at night when running down the lake instead of blinding your night vision??

Allison has had the dash dimmer switch for many years. My current boat has a switch that dims the analog guages. It is a great idea to add to any boat.

I put red bulbs in my gauges for running at night. A dimmer switch would be nice if you don't like red.

You would think all mfg would do this or atleast have it as a opption?

Re: Possible idea for Phoenix (bigfish)

I put the short 5ft keelsheild on my 618, right below the bottom stripe. When Im up on the deck the top edge barely under the water line. When I'm in the drivers seat its several inches above the water line. I check it each time I have beached her and it works just fine. The only reason it will not serve its purpose is if I try to beach on a very steep bank, like 45 or more degrees.

Re: Possible idea for Phoenix (BEE2100)

The best way to do this is to get a Line X guy to spray on your keel guard. You can start it, stop it, or shape it any way you desire. No ill handleing effects also.

Guys I had one (Hamby) installed on the 721 by a local glass shop. You have to either install it below the wings or glass in the wings to insure correct adhesion.
