I’ve been looking at a new 295. I would be interested in hearing your likes and dislikes. I’m a little concerned about space on the front deck, it looks like because of the shape that it might be a little cramped if you have 5 or 6 rods out.

Snipersish,
I have had my 295DC since April and love it! I keep about 6 rods out most of the time and have not found it to be an problem. It is narrower than most boats though but still has tons of storage in it. I have a 200hp on mine and it pushes it very well and has a nice ride! Over all for the money you can't beat this boat.
My dislikes are small: I didn't like the rods hold downs. I think the need to put a piece of no skid on the bow at the trolling motor other than that I can't think of any draw backs to this boat!
I'm the worlds worst to have a bunch of rods out on the deck!! No problems at all on the Bees even fishing with two people on the nose!!!

O yea i deff agree with that!! i have fished out on the front deck with two guys and alot of rods and have had no problems what so ever!

The new 295 Bee Line will take 7 1/2 rods in the rod locker. Plenty of room on front & back deck. Nice fishing boat. Boat is scarry fast, you have to learn to drive a fast boat!!!!
