need help were to mount lss1 transducer

i just recantly purchased a lowrance hds with structure scan an im having a little trouble in where to mount both transducers. my hull is stepped in the back an wanted to know if i could mount both td side by side at the same height or what would be best. any info or pics of other boats similar to mine would be very helpful.

I would prefer the step, but that would not work when your on plane. I have knocked off enough transducers to realize hard mounts are better then skimmer mounts.
