My son is going shopping for a new Z9 in the next couple of weeks. Would you recommend a Nitro boat dealer or Bass Pro Shop. Thanks

Since Nitros have a no haggle price id go to BPS and get your VIP card and the 1000$ gift card for buying from them. Dunno how everyone elses experience has been but mine has been great so far at my local BPS.

Its like any dealer, do some homework to find out how they do. My Local BPS in Katy, the service guys are great and have been working for awhile at that store. I would not hesitate to buy from a bass pro.

BPS will not haggle.
They wanted $38980 for my boat, went to dealer and paid $34626. SAME exact boat
Just purchased a new Z9 myself...got a better price from a dealer than I was with BPS no haggle price. Check with some of the sponsor dealers here on the site.
Also I forgot to say, I also got the VIP card and the 1000 gift card from the dealer. The cards come from Nitro when you buy your boat, doesnt matter from who you buy.
Did not know it was a Nitro thing to give BPS gift cards. Oh well i got a good deal on my boat and am happy. I say go where u can get the best deal and service no matter where it is!

I did BPS. but I would check out Pros Choice down at LOZ. Munganast is also a Nitro dealer.

I agree, you buy where it makes you happy, price and service, personal choice.
I was told that all dealers MUST charge the same as BPS.
Reading over the posts here obviously that is not the case. I called a deal in Canada and he said, well things are different in the states. I guess he might have been a little ticked off when I wold him I could get the same rig for 5,000 less in the states even after paying all the Canadian taxes.
Your right...all BPS stores have the one no haggle price....the only savings difference between stores is the frieght price....the closer the store to Clinton, MO the less the freight....for example the BPS store in my home town, freight was 825, if i purchased in Springfield, MO the freight was only 125, thats a 700 dollar savings. But, you can get a better deal on your Nitro by going to a marine dealer thats sells Nitros and not BPS.
Not sure how it works up north of the border in Canada, but it sounds as if you can save some money by coming south.......
The "No Haggle" price for current year boats is supposed to be the same, no matter if you buy it at a
BPS, an Independent dealer, or on-line. It's supposed to be a serious matter if it's not.

I bought my new 2012 Z9 the way I wanted from a dealer for less than BPS.... jst like other members have posted...it cost you less from a dealer than it does at BPS....do your homework and you WILL save money over BPS no haggle pricing....
