**Hole Shot Plate On 211.. Worth It??**

Considering putting a Hole Shot plate on my 09 211.. It has the factory 10" Hydrodynamics manual plate.. Talked to the JP company and can get one for like $70..

Just wonder if its worth it??

Never heard of a hole shot plate,what is it? What is it suspose to do for the boat to make it have a better hole shot?

Yep it will fill the hole at the bottom of your JackPlate so the water etc does not get up in there like normal and create drag..

I run big water pretty frequent (Erie) and there are a lot of times I don't want to switch top my High Five prop and run my Fury.. Than it may get a little bumpy out and need that extra something to pop right up..

Sanke oil. About the best thing it is for is mounting an SI xducer.

put one on my 211 it does help just get some alu.cut and drill and tap cost about 10 bucks

I guess you could do it with any material that would fill the hole and hold up. I piece of Delrin would probably also work.

Good Idea's on that.. Heck I could probably just take the top one off and copy it..

Used as standard equipment by many boat manufacturers...helps getting the boat on plane faster and helps eliminate backwash when coming off plane.
