i have a 1989 hs and i was wondering how to use he live well system?

do you have the livewell pulls in the back? my old hs had that

if you have pulls in the back,leave them pulled out to drain the wells,and not let water in when you dont want to.when you want to fill the wells up,and run the livewell pumps,push them in.when they are pushed in you can even run the pumps and recirculate the water on the trailer.the valves that came in the boat work this way,they are called reversing check valves made by flowrite.the sticker that used to be by the knob said push to fill,maybe this will help.i have a 90mod. dvtsx,thats how mine work

yea mine say push to fill as well, tks for the advice man... when i push them in the live wells only fill about halfway . is there a reason for that its real annoying that i cant figure this out because i would like to be able to keep some fish..

they only fill half way because that is where the water level is,lake in relation to livewell.when you turn the pumps on they are supposed to fill completly up to overflows,if not the reversing chack valves may be bad
