So I decided to do the install myself, using a buddy's lift, got the needed supplies, and have a step by step plan laid out. Figured it would be an interesting project and save myself a few hundred bucks. In for about $85 and half of that was the lifting ring.
So before I tackle this project, any tips from anyone who has done this before?

Unless you have to drill holes, this will be an easy thing to do.

LOL! Looks like I have to drill two holes but have a drill press to use and am going to disassemble the old jack plate to use as a template. Shouldn't be too bad, just make it's lined up straight with the correct spacing, mark 'em, and drill 'em.
Of course that's just what I think in my head, I'm sure in reality it's going to be a pain in the arse just because that's how projects like this go!

All good on cables. May have to re-route the passenger side hydraulic hose from around the engine compartment to across the engine compartment to gain some length but I definitely have enough hose on both sides.

Heck no, was a good tip to check. If I hadn't read it in my board searches on doing this I probably would not have any checked it!
