Hey guys, I have to lift off the top cap of my 94 this winter and was wondering if any of you guys have done this? Has anyone seen the build process at the plant on how they lower the top cap on? My main concern is the area right behing the console as that has the smallest area of material. I have 3 seat bases on the deck and made 3 screw ins with plates and was going to through bolt them to a 2x10 to prevent any flex. I keep getting water in the inner foam and it seems that the prior owner tried to reseal the rubrail a few times and drilled quite a few holes where the top and bottom meet and a few went through the inner liner. The water only gets in if the rear rubrail gets submerged for some time. I already scoped out the job and it doesnt look that dificult, I was just concerned with supporting the top cap from front to back. I will have all the lids removed to make it as light a possible. Thanks
