Got a friend with a 97 Intimidater 225 pro xs and 10 inch plate.He wants to try a 28 trophy.Would this be the rite prop for him? Any sugestions on what prop he should run or try.

Just about everyone will tell you that a 28 trophy is junk.

dont waste the the time...the 28 isnt a good prop...and will be way too stout for the 225...what is he running now????? that rig should run a 26 or 27...

I have a 98 intimidator w/ a 225 evinrude and the research I have done has led me to either a 26 or 27 Tempest plus. I haven't had a chance to run it with one of these props since the water is iced over in the great north.
Consensus seems to be a 27 Tempest plus would be ticked though!

+1 on the tempest..... got a 26 trophy its nice until you try a superior prop.
