    Boat is SOLD

Sold the boat today. I am having mixed emotions, but it was the right decison for me. Need to move to a single console boat, plus I blew out my back last week and can barely walk. Ened up in the ER last Sat and been to the chiropractor 5 times this week. I might be able to sit in my Gambler, but there is no way I would be getting up I might just wait till Winter to start the search for a new boat...don't know yet.

I hate to see her go, but I just need a single console and more room. I am waiting to see what the new 21XS looks like in its finished form. A 21Xs single console may be in my future If so, I am definitely going to incorporate teh lime green again.

I'll triple that! That was one good looking boat.
I've always liked the dual consoles ........ and so did my partners.
But, Mike can't wait to see what you'll do with the "New" model.

    Re: Boat is SOLD (G-Boat)

Good news...Bad news. I have some time to make up my mind since I blew out my back last week. I couldn't even get in my boat at this stage. I may just write the rest of the season off and heal up and get ready for next year. Plus if I buy a boat in the winter it will give me somethng to do I am going to keep my options open and look at a couple of different boats, since I would REALLY like the next one to be my last boat

I understand the need for the extra room and manuverablity of the single console, but IMO, the Gamblers need to be a dual console, the singles just look...well...off? I have always thought that Gamblers needed to be dual console to complete the look.

You could be right although I had a single console 209 before my Bullet and it was awesome. Lots of room. Depending on the new 21XS hull design and price, a center console might be in order. At this point I just have to wait and see what happens.

Sorry to hear about your back Mike, I know that's not fun at all. Been there done that! We just got back from 3 weeks traveling all over Alaska, what a blast that was. We had a family reunion in Juneau and then 3 other couples and us took off for the wild. We got some Salmon fishing in, but I still prefer Small-mouth. An Alaska trip I highly recommend, Denali was awesome.
