    Charging Optima Batteries

I have Optima’s, using the Guest 10Amp per bank charger. After fishing a full day there not holding up. Batteries load test is good. I read a post where Optima batteries need to be charged with a 12-15-amp charger. When I use my house charger they hold up fine. My question is should I change chargers. I'm looking at the Dual Pro PS2. Any thoughts

    Re: Charging Optima Batteries (96intimidator)

Buy a PowerPulse by Power Tech Corporation. This device eliminates sulphidation of the lead sheets. It will bring your tired batteries back to life. They make 12, 24 & 36 volt versions. This device uses the battery energy to charge a capacitor then release a burst of energy into the battery(s) which cleans the plates. I used a set of Optimas for 5 years with the PowerPulse and regular 10amp Ship SHore chargers. No change is performance of the batteries over 5 years. Call 817 329 6099.
