Actually, I didn't like the ladder idea very much. I went and got myself a stirrup and put a rope to it. It was a lot lighter and didn't take up any space. I left it in the back compartment for when I needed it. Just wrap it around a cleat and pull yourself up. Some one must have stole it and I haven't replaced it. I plan to this year.
First of all, a Gambler is a bit harder to fall out of - at least under power. That low cockpit sure is nice. I always wear my life vest in the boat. Should I ever go overboard, my plan is to work my way to the engine, stand on the cavvy plate and use the power trim to boost me up on back. m
The E-Ladder looks like a good option>>> http://www.basscatstore.com/in...&HS=1

I have the eladder, love it... no extra holes in the boat. It is a bit of a stretch with a jackplate but it works...
I have the factory installed ladder which works perfectly. I will try to dsend a photo
I don't know about the E Ladder, one slip and you rip your leg open on the prop.![]()
Go to the Gamblers owners page on the BBC homepage and look for HowardVA. There is a picture of a ladder that Gambler installed for me back in 2004.![]()
