    starter casing blew up, more problems?

    i have a 2000 200hp ficht and my starter casing blew up. could i have more problems than just my starter went bad?

    Just taking a guess, but USUALLY when that happens, the drive hangs in the flywheel and then when the motor is spinning after it starts is when it will break the top off.....
