    Trolling Motor

Hey y'all, I was considering upgrading my 36v Motorguide and I found a pretty good deal on a lightly used Motorguide. The catch is it's a 50" shaft, I believe my current has a 45" shaft. Do y'all think the 50" will be too big? Thanks in advance...

50 inch is great for open water fishing on those windy days when it's ruff and your bow is bouncing. Only drawback is if you flip a lot in shallow water it is up in the air a little more and can get into the way.
