    I run a 28 Raker worked and get perfect hole shots and great top end. 10 Detwieler Jack Plate though...You didn't mention you had one

    When you say "Best" You want the best for what? Top-end,carrying a load,hole-shot.I have ran a lot of different props and they all had their +/-'s.IMO whatever prop you get a Gambler begs for a worked prop.

    I have a 27p 4blade power tech on it now, top end seems ok run 77 at 5450 rpms but weak lowend with a passenger, get smoked on hole shot by my buddy in his ranger, but he has nothing for me on the other end, would really like the best of both world as unrealistic as it is, would settle for a better compromise

    check your tach and/or GPS the numbers you have posted dont work.thats about a 6% + slip.

    what do you mean by 6%+slip. The tach I could be off on, several boat out that day was trying the watch wake, but I know the GPS was right, read 77.1

    I guess I'm assuming you have a 1.75 gear ratio when i say 6% slip.
