Well I cut a hole in the deck today.

I installed a recessed pedal tray today and put a new 3 bank charger on the 202. I was nervous as heck about cutting the hole but it all went really smooth. I sealed up the edges really good before I put the tray in. I think I'll hit the water in the morning and try it out. Thanks to everyone who put up pictures showing the install.

Which charger did you go with?

I went with the Minn Kota digital 15A 3 bank. The local boat shop where I bought my recessed tray had it on sale plus a $30 mail in rebate. They were $50, I think, cheaper than BPS.

I've been looking at chargers, thought about getting a Noco genius. Looking at the minn Kota as well.

To be honest, I just went with what they had in stock. There may be a little difference in them but there's not a lot. As long as it keeps my batteries hot, I'm good. Haha

For boats with limited mounting space the NOCO is tough to beat. I really like them. Tthe MK is good also, but the high dolla one is pretty big.
