    WD

Willie, on the Bravo I's, is the new Bravo or the old Bravo smaller in diameter? I think you've found the secret with the large pitch prop's. Get a hold of the August issue of Hot Boat mag, there's a great NO BS article on prop's. Its not that simple, but they are saying that the largest pitch you can run, but the smallest in diameter are the fastest.

Sandy.............the old style you have is smaller in diameter than the new style. The blade styles are also a little different............trailing edge and thickness.
I try to prop the motor where the rpms just exceed the highest point of HP curve at WOT, while using the tallest possible pitch prop that performs the best. The tricky part is finding the prop that performs the best (less slip = better efficiency). Also, for our heavy hulls the larger diameter 4-blades carriy the loads better.
I sure would like to look at that article..........could you email it to me or post on the site? You know I'm always looking for an extra mph.

I left the mag up at the place in NY, but will be going back up there Labor Day week-end. I'll see what I can do to get it to you. Its one of the better articles I've read on props.
